In the summertime.

I can’t believe it is the 1st of July, though you wouldn’t know it from the weather here in Glasgow.

It’s time for a new challenge over at Digi Sketch Challenges, and the theme is “In the Summertime”, with the lucky winner receiving 7 digis of their choice from the fabulous Bugaboo Digi Stamps. There is a great sketch to follow this week too.

I used Summertime Peekers, Flower Pot and coloured her using Promarkers and Flexmarkers, the limited edition summer set from last year worked perfectly with the digi papers I opted to use.  I used my trusty sentiment stamp and punch from Stampin’ Up to complete the card.

Ingredients
Coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers
Sentiment and punch from Stampin’ Up
Nesties
Butterfly punch

I hope the card encourages you to join in with us this time.

I would like to enter the following challenges;
Di’s Digi Designs – Summer Fun
Digitally Sweet Challenges – Colour Inspiration
Stampin Dragon – Anything Goes
Aud Sentiments – Summer
Creatalicious Challenges – All about summer

Cute as a bug.

Hello, today we have a new challenge over at Digi Sketch Challenges and the theme is “Cute”.  We have a sketch for you to play along with too, but you don’t need to use it if you don’t want to.  We are sponsored by Cedar Chest Designs, who have gorgeous digital images and the prize is a $10 voucher for their online store.

I chose to use “Love Bug”, and at only $1 it is a complete bargain!! I coloured it up using my trusty Promarkers, and decided to make the heart on his back a wee bit different so used Black Diamond Stickles. I used polka dot papers from the “Back to School” digi kit by Sarah Hurley as the background, and layered it up with the Ladybug Freebie from Shery K Designs. I used a sentiment from a stamp set, that I thought was perfect.

Ingredients
Ladybug Paper Kit  from Shery K Designs
Promarkers
Black Diamond Stickles
Spellbinders dies
Red Grosgrain ribbon, green card from stash.

I hope you join us this time at Digi Sketch Challenges.

I would like to enter the following challenges;
Cupcake Inspirations – Ladybugs
One Stitch At A Time – Use a digi.
Corrosive Challenges 174 – Sentiment on the front
Picture & Scrap – Lots of layers
Natalie & Amy – Things with wings

Biker Chick.

Hello again, lots of blog posts this week, and this time it’s to tell everyone about a new challenge over at the Digi Galore Challenge Blog. And this time Louise has drew up a funky wee sketch for us to play with.  We are sponsored by the fabulous The Paper Shelter with a $20 voucher for their online store as the prize.

I chose to use “Undetected” On The Routes, and coloured her with my favourite MOTO GP riders colours of blue and yellow. For those of you unfamiliar with MOTO GP, the rider is Valentino Rossi and he is an amazing rider! Colouring her was rather tricky as the digi is very detailed, but thanks to fine tips for Promarkers and LOTS of patience I finished her and I love her.

Ingredients
Spotty Stripey Paper from Secret Rose Garden
Coloured with Flexmarkers and Promarkers
Memento ink
Sentiment and dies from Clearly Besotted Stamps
Spellbinders die, XCut corner punch
Ribbon and blue papers from stash.

I hope you can pop over and join us this time, we look forward to seeing your creations.xx

I would like to enter her into the following challenges;
Oldie but a Goodie – Inspired by a song- “Born to Be Wild”(Something 6 months old, ribbon)
Papertake Weekly Challenge – The Sound of Music – The song “Born To Be Wild”
Challenges 4 Everybody – Anything Goes
Lacy Sunshine – Anything but a square with hand coloured image.
The Corrosive Challenges – Sentiment on the front.
Crafty Catz – Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday – Something Blue
The Paper Shelter – Anything Goes.

It’s Thursday.

And that means a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday, and this week it is a sketch.  The sponsors this week are the fabulous Whiff of Joy.   I have never made a card from a sketch, and that coupled with a bad case of sinusitis had left me puzzled as to what to make. So I used one of my favourite Digis from Lady Bugs Craft Ink, and used the Winter Limited Edition Promarkers, to keep the card clean and simple. I popped some glitter onto the flowers using Sakura Glitter pens.

Ingredients
Winter Limited Edition Promarkers
Sakura Glitter pens
