It’s launch day for Hurley HQ.

Hello and welcome to my wee crafty corner in cyberspace, if you are following the Sarah Hurley Blog Hop you have arrived here from the blog of the lovely Elaine. If you have just stumbled across my page then hello, and why not pop over to the first blog on the hop? which belongs to the lady behind the beautiful pretties we get to play, I mean create with – Sarah Hurley.
Todays hop is all about the launch of Sarah’s brand new website. Now you can see all of Sarah’s gorgeous products in one place.  To celebrate the launch we are all showcasing items we have made using kits and embellishments that are available from the online store.  I used the very versatile and pretty Kissing Booth digi kit to create my card.
I used the papers from the kit to create bunting with dies and put that onto bakers twine to create a line of bunting.  I die cut two pretty birdies from the papers and popped them ontop of the bunting.  I die cute the love using papers from the kit too.

I took lots of different shots to show the dimension that I have created on the card.
You may have noticed some very pretty crochet flowers and pegs in my pictures and these are also available from Sarah and are part of the “A Few of My Favourite Things” monthly kit.
I also had to pop on some of my favourite items from the store which is of course these delicious chipboard stars.  I have used gilding flakes on these ones, but the options are endless.
I have told you my favourite thing, so why not tell me your favourite product from the shop in the comments below or on Sarah’s FB Page and you have a chance to win it plus a £10 voucher to use in Sarah’s shop.  There are THREE chances to win, so the more comments you leave, the more chances you have of winning – good luck.
Your next stop on the hop is the lovely Lisa. Have fun and thanks for popping by.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges;
Ladybug Crafts – Valentines and or Love
Card makin Mamas – I’m in the mood for love.
Craft Us Crazy – Get to cutting(used my big shot)
Little Miss Muffet  – Hearts and flowers
Paper Pretties – Square cards (PWC243)
Ruby’s Rainbow – Valentine’s (hearts)
Perfect Sentiment – Anything goes with a die cut

Exciting crafty news.

Hiya everyone 🙂 It is finally the weekend 😀 What a busy week it has been for me, from collecting a new car to the best crafty news *ever*.

As many of you will know I was a Guest Designer for the fabulous Sarah Hurley, and I was asked if I would like to be a permanent member…needless to say I didn’t even have to think about my answer 😀 I love being part of this amazing Design Team of very talented and all round great girlies.

Oooo, I also have a new DT badge *happy dance*

One of the highlights of my 3 months was working on the gorgeous Lookbook, which has great inspiration for using Sarahs range.  It has proved so popular that there will be a second one, and Sarah is looking for project submissions for the new Lookbook Volume 2.  Pop over to Sarahs Blog post to find out all the information, it is a very exciting time for us 😀

Hope you all have a wander over to the website and have a browse, have a great weekend 😀 xx

New DT announcement

And it’s the weekend, happy happy happy!!

I am delighted to announce I am joining the very talented ladies on the Just Some Lines Design Team.  They have an amazing range of digi stamps in their store, and I will have lots of fun making creations with them.

The first challenge I am taking part in is “Use more than one colouring medium”. I scratched my head for a while with this one, then realised I could use Promarkers and Distress Inks, result.  I used Paula Stands for my card and used autumnal colours now that the leaves are starting to turn.

Ingredients
Digi Paper
Coloured with Promarkers, Kuretake Art & Graphic and Sakura Glitter pens,
Distress inks in Broken China and Evergreen Bough
Ticket from Whimsy Stamps
Ribbon, gems and craft card from stash.

I hope you pop over to Just Some Lines and join us :0)

I would like to enter her into the following challenges;
Fab ‘n’ Funky Challenges – Colours of Autumn
Lexi’s Creations – Autumn Colours
Lollipop Crafts – Fall Frolic
The Pink Elephant Challenge – Use patterned paper
