It’s time to be Thankful.

The theme over at Kitty Bee Designs this time is Thankful/Thank You. I am a couple of days late with my blog post, I’ve been a bit under the weather and really weary, so trying to catch up with things when I have some evergy. Enough about me, let me show you the lovely card I made. I used the adorable Panda digi on my card, and kept it nice and simple and monochrome. I popped some butterflies on it, everyone loves a butterfly.

The panda digi is ideal for super quick, super cute cards as you can just print him out and you are ready to go!

I really hope you can pop over and join us this time.

Where does time go?

That is a question I am constantly asking myself, especially when it comes to birthdays. My youngest niece was 21 yesterday(10th) and I wanted to make her a card that reflected her musical talents.

I decided to use a Kenny K digi as they are perfect for people who are into their music, I printed it onto Diamond White paper and coloured it in using Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I made the digi a bit bigger than I normally would and ended up making an 8×8 card, which is very very unusual for me!!

I knew I had these digi papers and thought they were perfect with the image, I added a 21 cut from a Tim Holtz die, and popped on a wee metal guitar.

Ingredients
Kenny K Metal Babe Digi Stamp
Promarkers and Flexmarkers
digi papers
Bakers Twine
metal guitar charm
Tim Holtz Market Place Die
Layering card & paper from stash

I hope you like the card.

Midway at Kitty Bee Designs.

It’s midway through our “Black, white and one other colour” challenge at Kitty Bee Designs and I made a tag this time using the super cute Zebra digi stamp.

I opted for teal as my other colour, and used a Promarker and some Memento ink to add the colour. I created the background using a Confetti stamp from Stampin Up and coloured round the edge with the Promarker. I added some sparkly gems onto the Zebra and the starbursts, then stamped a sentiment onto a punched shape. The “awesomsauce” sentiment comes from Everyday Sayings Stamps from Sarah Hurley.

I hope you can pop over and join us this time.

Black, white and one other colour.

Is  the theme over at Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog, and I opted to use hot pink as my other colour with this super cute Zebra digi stamp.

It is such a versatile image, which you will see from the creations my team mates have made. It is always good to have a digi in your collection that you can use for births, congratulations, birthdays or just a note card.

I coloured her using a Magenta  and Cool Grey Promarkers. I got my backing papers from The Papeterie in Aberdeen, and their papers are just divine. The punch is from Stampin’ Up and the adorable “Make A Wish” sentiment is from Sarah Hurley.

I hope you can join us this time with our “Black, White and one other colour” at Kitty Bee Designs.

Sneak Peek Time

The seasons are changing, yippeeee, and Halloween is on its way.  And to celebrate this Sarah Hurley will be launching a brand new exciting range!! But, I have been playing with some of the kit (I know, how lucky am I?) and made something really cool!

I can’t show you the completed project yet incase Sarah confiscates my kit!!! Though I will share a sneak peek of it.

How amazing are the wee skulls and bones…and there is a cat 😀
I hope you are looking forward to the new kit, and I can’t wait to share the completed project x

Babies is the theme.

Aloha! This is my first post for the Kitty Bee Designs DT and I can’t tell you how excited I am to be onboard, I love their super cute digis.  You can get them from their Etsy Store and they have something for all occasions.

The theme this time is Babies, and I used the cute Super Star Bunny to make my card. I opted to keep it CAS, and let the image be the main focus.  Yellows are always a safe colour to have in your stash of baby cards lol.

Cute as a bug.

Hello, today we have a new challenge over at Digi Sketch Challenges and the theme is “Cute”.  We have a sketch for you to play along with too, but you don’t need to use it if you don’t want to.  We are sponsored by Cedar Chest Designs, who have gorgeous digital images and the prize is a $10 voucher for their online store.

I chose to use “Love Bug”, and at only $1 it is a complete bargain!! I coloured it up using my trusty Promarkers, and decided to make the heart on his back a wee bit different so used Black Diamond Stickles. I used polka dot papers from the “Back to School” digi kit by Sarah Hurley as the background, and layered it up with the Ladybug Freebie from Shery K Designs. I used a sentiment from a stamp set, that I thought was perfect.

Ingredients
Ladybug Paper Kit  from Shery K Designs
Promarkers
Black Diamond Stickles
Spellbinders dies
Red Grosgrain ribbon, green card from stash.
