Hello Stranger!

It has been a while(again) I am slowly getting or attempting to get back into a crafty routine, which is proving easier said than done.

I made this card a while ago for a friend to give to relatives, the wee baby has a Silver Cross pram and the card was to reflect that.

I used lots of Stix2 products including the card blank, 3d Foam, double sided tape and card stock.

I hope you like the card, I promise I will try and post more often.

Planner Bookmark

Hello again! It’s been a busy couple of days and I would love to share my latest make with Stix2 products.

I am absolutely loving my planner and always looking for new wee things to help my awful memory! I decided to make a reusable weekly bookmark using the Bookmarks and Bookmark Sleeves. I picked out some stamp sets that I thought would be helpful and got to work.

I am really delighted with the results and hope you like them too.

Finally Facing The Cameo!

Hello! Today I am sharing a planner lay out that I am immensely proud of, I decided to try and print and cut a kit using my Cameo…now I know that doesn’t sound much to a lot of you guys but to me(and some other Cameo users) it can be a battle of wills usually resulting in me swearing and vowing to sell the Cameo!

This time was different, I put on some music, took in a nice wee Costa Latte and talked nicely to Cammy(the Cameo). I picked a kit from Etsy, it came with Silhouette cut files(obvs!) I dusted off the A4 sticker sheets I bought over a year ago and oh, funny story here…we got a new fancy shmancy printer a few weeks ago which I have not the foggiest how to load…hubby was out so I actually had to phone him to ask him how to load the printer! Nothing is ever plain sailing in my craft room lol.

After a 5 minute phone call, who knew the paper thingies were under the flat that you had to open to get the printed stuff out?

Here is my layout for this week. I am a bit behind as the anxiety demons took over at the weekend and I am slowly catching up with things.

I also used my trusty Steps Stickers from Beautiful Planning on Etsy, remember to use code CAROL15 for 15% off your order.

Thanks for popping by, I hope this inspires you to face your Cameo demons.

One single die…2 different cards.

Hello, today I thought I would share two cards I recently made using one die and lots of Stix2products.

I wanted to make a nice Clean & Simple congratulations card to show off the lovely Stardust Glitter card from Stix2, and decided to use a flower die from Sunshine Wishes by Stampin Up! I have been a demo for years and always love dies that I can make lots of different cards with.

floral congrats

I, like everyone else, loathe making Sympathy cards, and I really don’t like a lot of colour on them either. I used this simple flower die to show how versatile and elegant it is.

I hope you like my cards today, and if you would like any more information about Stampin Up, please email me.

Planning Time

Hello, and happy Friday Eve! Today I am sharing this weeks lay out in my Erin Condren planner using a beautiful kit from Beautiful Planning. It is called ‘Sweet Dreams BeePee’ and words really well with lots of the other functional stickers from Beautiful Planning.

Some of my favourite functional stickers has to be the Steps Counter Sticker, so I can keep a track of my daily steps. The Small Ombre Checklist Boxes are really handy too for notes or for things you need to remember to buy.

As you may have noticed I am not usually a “pastelly” person when I craft and plan, but I love the contrast in my pages from week to week of super bright one week and pretty pastels the next.

Remember when you visit Beautiful Planning to use code CAROL15 to get 15% off your order!

As some of you will have seen from my Instagram, I am loving decorating my Erin Condren Planner just now, and I was lucky enough to be asked to joining the Beautiful Planning Design Team. Tash makes the most beautiful high quality, practical stickers and I have been using her range from the start of my planning journey. Todays post is using the Mermaid kit and lots of extra stickers like the Positive QuotesStep Tracker and the Blog Upload Tracker.

Stix2 Snowflakes

Hello! Tonight it is time to share the first of my Christmas cards. I don’t feel that it is too early anymore as our tree is up *yay*.

I made this card using only products from Stix2, they have so much more than just adhesives. I will do a wee quick step by step too.

1  Take an 8×8″ card blank, and cut two pieces of co-ordinating colours to make your base layer and the layer for the snowflakes. I opted for icy blues and silver for a change from red and green.

2 Using double sided tape stick the layers down. Decide where you want to stick your snowflake die cuts and place the blue ones down using the glue pen. Offset the white ones using foam pads and place on top.

3 Type up or stamp your sentiment, layer it onto the blue card and place onto the card with 3d foam squares.
